Radial Shockwave

Radial shockwave is bit like dropping a large pebble into a pond setting off a ripple effect that continues below the water surface as the pebble falls. It produces a similar effect in muscle and fascia tissues. It has helped many of our patients with plantar fasciitis and tennis/golfers elbow.

The application of shock waves, known as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), is an evidence-based, effective treatment for plantar fasciitis and most tendon conditions including  achilles, hamstring, patellar, gluteal and tennis elbow tendinopathies.

Debbie - Foot Care Specialist 01302 768706 or email thorneroadtherapyenquiries@gmail.com

Debbie set out as a fitness instructor in the 1980’s, teaching aerobics, weight training, body building and diet and nutrition. Debbie has a long and varied career working with the general public. A few years ago she retrained to look after feet. She now has extensive knowledge and experience in footcare.

Debbie is fully trained in all hygiene aspects and uses modern expensive equipment which is fully insured and maintained to a high standard, which many “practitioners do not!!”. Hence she may charge a little bit more than some but this is reflected in the quality of treatment and the excellent service she provides.

We are very privileged to have Debbie as our level 4 Foot care specialist, providing an excellent level of footcare, dealing with the usual cutting of nails, corns, calluses, heel fissures, verruca treatment, and much more including radial shockwave for plantar fasciitis.
